The NZSHoF is a non-profit organization established in 2003. Everyone is welcome to the induction evening held at the Remuera Club in Auckland. Honouring outstanding people within the traditional speedway classes of Solo Motorcycles, Sidechairs, Three Quarter Midgets, Midgets, Sprintcars and Super Modifieds.
Inductees are added in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the sport.Tickets include supper and a cash bar is available. Being in September it’s a great chance for speedway people to catch up in the off-season and help celebrate as our peers and the greats no longer with us are bestowed our sports greatest honour.
All inductees receive a commemorative plaque to take home and are invited, with family and friends, to place their bronze plaque on the board. The two living inductees also receive a Hall of Fame ring.
The Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization relying solely on donations and sponsorship from local businesses to continue operating.
